Northern Virginia has a additional ambassador!

Welcome Leslie Shippee! Virginia’s newest USAPA Ambassador. She joins Hellen White to help cover one of Virginia’s largest metropolitan areas. Pickleball in Virginia just keeps growing and moving at a fast pace. It is amazing to see in just a few short years how big pickleball has become in Virginia. Leslie’s contact info is on the Ambassador page. Thanks

Pickleball Mike

Do you think Virginia should have its own specialized pickleball license plate?

Virginia Pickleball wants to find out if there is an interest with the pickleball community in Virginia to have a specialised pickleball license plate. If there is we will attempt to find a Virginia Delegate who will sponsor our application. Then I will file with the DMV the confirmation of support from a Senator and or Delegate. Then we will have to have 450 prepaid applications with the DMV before our application will be approved by the Virginia General Assembly. Before we do all that we need to get your votes that you would like to have this. So please sign our electronic petition and we will get this started. Virginia Pickleball will also have a design contest for coming up with a design for the plate. Follow this link and sign our petition to see if pickleball players in Virginia want a pickleball license plate. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/pickleball-license-plate

2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 6,000 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.
